Iowans: Videos, Interviews, Notes

Hi, I’m Adam Burke of Iowa City, IA.

Originally from Illinois Quad Cities, I used to live about 100 meters from the Mississippi River.
Then I went to college upriver in St. Paul, Minnesota and lived in the Twin Cities for about eight years.
I went back to school at the U of Iowa in 1997 for an MFA in Video and Intermedia (completed in 2000).

There are several “Adam Burke”s in the world. I am this Adam Burke: atomburke.com.

That’s just a part of who I am. I think most of life is “off-resume.”

The idea here is to feature Iowans talking about ideas and hopes; their farms and cities; their families and lives.

There will also be a certain amount of Iowa visitors, especially the interesting ones.

I am an independent freelance video producer and videographer.
I write, shoot, edit, and do some graphic design.
